A Tropical Bridal Shower With Pineapples and Sequins

Happy Monday My Darlings!

I am uber excited for today's post! Last month, we were lucky enough to partner with our local chapter of #TuesdaysTogether to collaborate on some amazing shoots. If you haven't heard about #TuesdaysTogether, it's a concept created by The Rising Tide Society, where creatives and entrepreneurs gather together for coffee and conversation on the second Tuesday of every month. It's an open space for idea sharing and goal building, while promoting community over competition.

We were approached a few months ago by Zahira Domenech, of Eventus by Zahira, who is the leader of the local chapter here in Puerto Rico, and of course we jumped at the chance to get involved with such an amazing project! Zahira wanted the group members to come together as a team and collaborate to create an amazing shoot, leaving egos aside and working together to create an amazing product. Once the shoot was announced, the response was so overwhelming that we had to divide the group into three teams. We went ahead and assigned each team a theme and venue, and left the rest to their creativity. This week we will be publishing all three shoots, and we can't wait for you all to see what everyone created!

First up, #TeamPineappleBridalShower which was led by me. The San Juan Water Club and Beach Hotel was our location and it couldn't have been more perfect for the tropical vibe of this shoot. In creating the "Bridal Shower" scene, fun elements such as bridesmaid proposal boxes, glitter champagne bottles, personalized lollipops and a champagne bar, all played a key role in the shoot. Add into the mix bright colors and pineapples galore, and you have the perfect Tropical Bridal Shower!
