Marchesa kicked off Bridal Week in New York City with a bang! The brand's Spring 2017 bridal collection is all about a "journey through a real, enchanted garden."
"Ethereal, cascading blossom" — that was Marchesa designers and Keren Craig's inspiration for the spring 2017 bridal collection. Glistening crystals and pearls against sleek bodices and ethereal gowns are reminiscent of morning mist atop of petals in a wildflower meadow. Springtime buds in rosy ombres and dip-dyed blushes are blooming in layered tiers and ruffles over silk organza. Lightweight tulles in sheer blush and nude tones are subtly placed beneath ball gowns. Silk satin ribbons add a majestic touch to seductively cinched waists and revealing peek-a-boo cut-outs. Ornate embroideries of 3D organza roses and hand-cut petals flourish over detachable skirts and peplums as French Chantilly and corded lace are gracefully set against plunging necklines.
