Real Weddings: Frances Luna and Lionel Vargas
Happy Monday! Here is a little love story to start your week...
When Frances was getting ready for a fun night out with her girlfriends the last thing she thought was that she would meet the love of her life. Fast forward a few hours and she had officially met Lionel, the man that would become her husband. After a night of dancing (they stayed partying until 5am!) they both knew things had changed forever.
Frances and Lionel hosted their friends and family to a colorful wedding at the El San Juan Hotel and Casino. From the moment Frances woke up, her day was exactly what she always wanted. Inspired by her favorite color, orange, Frances dreamed of a simple, elegant and colorful affair. Celebrating their ceremony at the famous Banyan Tree at the hotel was the perfect backdrop to start their evening. Followed by a festive reception with a few surprises along the way, and even though the day had a few hiccups (A groomsmen didn't show up!), they didn't let that damper their day, because in the end they were each marrying their best friend!
From the Bride..."My bridesmaids arrived and we started having champagne, dancing and singing while getting ready. I gave them matching bracelets so that they would remember that special day. We were all relaxed and happy. Our "First Look" was one of my most memorable moments seeing him standing at the top of the stairs was everything. It got me all emotional, nervous and happy at the same time. I was an emotional roller coaster at that moment. At the reception the best man gave an awesome speech. My best friend was extremely helpful with everything I needed, including going up to the room to bring another me pair of shoes and the short skirt. Also, my dad surprised us with entertainment while we ate and with a batucada at the end of the reception. I loved when my husband took off my garter and accidentaly took of my shoe too. We both had so much fun dancing with all of our friends and family. It was truly a night we will never forget."
