There is a very popular saying that goes “Ponce es Ponce y lo demas es Parking!” and with todays wedding you will see exactly what they mean by that. We are in love with this wedding at Castillo Seralles full of glitz, glam and opulence.
Juan Carlos and Damaris met one night in Miami through mutual friends. Damaris had just moved there to finish pharmacy school and Juan Carlos was working at a web design company. After that first meeting they quickly became good friends. However it wasn’t until years later that they started dating and eventually fell in love.
Juan Carlos proposed during a trip to Las Vegas. On their last day there, at the end of breakfast, he pulled out a bright blue box. Inside a stunning Tacori ring with which he proposed.
From the Bride… After the engagement we decided to travel to PR and celebrate with our families. It was a beautiful dinner in the city of Ponce. From the restaurant we could see the beautiful view of the city including Castillo Serralles, that’s when we decided to have our wedding there. We started planning our wedding and the first person I contacted to help me out was Rosalina Torres. I already knew her amazing work from a friends wedding I had been to, so it was easy for me to pick her as my wedding planner. It was an exciting time for us. We had many ideas to choose from, but we decided to go with an outdoor wedding with a modern theme and classic white and black for our colors. Then it was time to choose what I was going to wear. The first item I purchased were my shoes ( yes, before the dress! ) I fell in love with a beautiful pair of Giusseppe Zanotti crystal pumps. For the dress I chose a beautiful Lazaro design, Swarovski crystals embellished sash and a long cathedral veil.
