Real Weddings: Nichole Mariel Torres González and Homel Antonio Mercado Justiniano

When we first saw today’s wedding we immediately fell in love with the decor, then upon closer inspection we noticed that we actually knew the bride! We went to the same high school and even traveled to the Pacific with friends. We are beyond excited to be featuring her gorgeous wedding on the blog.

Nichole and Homel met at a Law School party and immediately hit it off. When it came time to proposing (and after getting her parents blessing), he took Nichole to their favorite restaurant and got down on one knee and presented her with a ring he designed himself.

When it came to planning the wedding Homel left all the designing to Nichole. She had very specific ideas of what she wanted her big day to look like. Designed around white, silver and gold the end result was a vision of elegance and grandeur.

From the bride…I had a vision of what I wanted the wedding to be, intimate yet over the top. The St. Regis Bahia Beach was exactly that.

Every aspect had to reflect my personality or ours as a couple; from the save the dates, the invitations, the décor, the food, the favors, to the cake, etc. Every aspect was thought out to be exactly what I envisioned.

The floral arrangements were high and low floral arrangements in silver gold vases consisting in orchids, tulips, hydrangeas and other white flowers for the imperial tables. The imperial tables had alternated gold or silver linens and amber or clear ghost chairs, the flower arrangements were integrated with gold lamps and votive candles. The round tables had high cylinder clear vases and the flower arrangements consisted of orchids, hydrangeas and other white flowers, and big gold painted leafs. The round table linens were silver, votive candles, clear ghost chairs and white sofas.
